The Best Playmat! - Dwingler

Yes this is the best playmat. If you are expecting, have an infant, a toddler, or any kids that like to play on the floor, this is the playmat for you! I missed the boat on this the first time around when I had James. My dear friend had this playmat at her home, it was so comfy and durable. It had a cute design and was reversible. The best part was that there was no smell and that it was a one piece as opposed to the traditional foam ABC ones out there. I already had the foam mat and since we lived in a small condo I didn't want to get one due to space restrictions. However now that we have a house there is room for this mat.

The mat is made by a company called Dwingler. They have numerous designs and 3 different sizes to meet your space requirements. I ordered mine from Home Depot because I was looking for a particular one. Lots of online retailers carry the playmat including Amazon, bed bath and beyond, etc. It's a little pricey, but it's an investment, especially if you are having multiple kids. 

Cleanliness is really important to me and this mat meets my needs as it is easily cleaned. I wash it down with soap and water. It's thick making it comfortable to sit on and the thickness makes it an added layer of protection between your kids head and the floor. The patterns they have a really cute. I opted for one side with animals and the other had a city grid layout with schools, homes, a fire station, etc. James loves pushing his cars on this side. Claire in no longer an infant but she still likes to play there.
